Coaching is a structured conversation designed to help you clarify goals, overcome obstacles, improve performance, and create a plan for growth.
A coach helps you think clearly, identify next steps, and remain accountable to your goals.
-
No.
Coaching focuses on future goals, personal growth, and practical action plans. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or medical care.
If a situation requires professional counseling, therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or medical care, we may recommend that you seek an appropriately licensed professional.
-
No.
Coaching conversations are confidential except in situations involving:
Threats of harm to yourself or others
Abuse or neglect where reporting is required by law
Situations otherwise required by law
Outside of those circumstances, your coach will not share the details of your conversations without your permission.
-
Veracity Electric may receive general participation information, such as the number of coaching sessions provided. Specific coaching conversations and personal details remain confidential unless you authorize their disclosure.
-
Most teammates work with their coach every two weeks. Your coach can help determine the best rhythm based on your goals and circumstances. Veracity provides up to two sessions per calendar month.
-
Most coaching sessions last 55–60 minutes.
-
Each coach has different life experiences, strengths, and specialties. Review the coach profiles and select the coach whose experience best matches your goals.
If you're unsure, schedule with any coach and we can help connect you with the best fit.
-
Absolutely.
Finding the right coaching relationship matters. If another coach would better serve your goals, we can help you make that transition.
-
Your first session typically includes:
Getting to know your coach
Discussing your goals and challenges
Clarifying priorities
Creating initial action steps
Determining next steps and follow-up
You do not need to prepare anything special.
-
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session. This allows your coach to make that time available to another teammate.
Because coaching appointments are a limited company-sponsored benefit, teammates who miss a scheduled session or arrive more than 5 minutes late will be suspended from the coaching benefit for 30 days. After the 30-day suspension period, coaching eligibility will be restored.
We encourage teammates to schedule sessions at times when they can reliably attend and arrive on time.
-
Many of our coaches are Christians and can incorporate biblical principles when requested. However, coaching is available to all teammates regardless of faith background.
You may choose the level of faith integration you would like in your coaching conversations.
-
Results vary by individual, but many teammates experience:
Greater clarity and confidence
Improved relationships
Better communication skills
Increased accountability
Stronger leadership abilities
Healthier habits
Progress toward important personal and professional goals
The greatest results come from consistent action between sessions.
-
That's okay.
Many people begin coaching simply because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or ready for growth. A single conversation can help determine whether coaching is a good fit for your situation.
